Review
Summary (6.8)
This is the oddest of all poker rooms we reviewed. The software would be ok and almost good, if it wouldn't have been for the crashes and hangups. The table selection is below average, even the withdrawals takes ages. I would have rated this poker room the worst of them all - if it wasn't for one thing. The traffic, by all means these guys at pacific poker, have some serious problems. They cant play poker! Its the greatest fish pond of all poker rooms out there. The players probably come from the 888-casino, and wants to do huge bets with no hands,or call your $125 bet with Q high because they thought you where bluffing. The players playing at pacific poker never stops to amaze me. They play terrible. If you can manage the slow withdrawal times and a lousy software - then by all means its time to cash in. Wait for the cards to come, and bet. You will cash-in large amounts of money from the pacific poker room fish pond.
Ring game (10)
Ring game has decent traffic and is crowded with the absolutely worst players on the internet - if you play solid poker this is the place to grind. It mainly supports Texas hold em limit games, it offers Texas hold em no limit but less players play this at Pacific poker. This poker room has about 5000 ring game players during peak hours.
Game vareity (6)
Mainly Texas limit hold em, some no limit hold em and Omaha action. Texas hold em Limit, No limit and Omaha Hi and Hi/Lo, 7CardStud and 7cardstud Hi/Lo can be played here. They also offers some heads up games but thats about it when it comes to variety. But you don't come here to play with different forms of poker, you come here to play the players.
Competition (10)
Best place to play poker on the internet when it comes to competition. The players here play horrible. My only theory to this; the 888Casino players all play on pacific poker. The players here seriously lack one thing. Experience.
Loyalty (8)
Good player points that can be converted to real money. Bonuses are payed out almost instantly, its one of the good things about pacific poker. If you bet $10 you will get one bonus point, then you can convert 100 bonus points into $1.
Support (6)
Email support, live support and phone support. They actually have quite fast response times as well.
Cash (4)
You can deposit with: MasterCard, Visa, Citadeel, Neteller, Wire transfers, PaySafeC and the normal bank transfers.
Withdrawals are slow. I waited two weeks for a neteller cashout once. You can only withdraw funds with: Neteller, Wire transfer, and Bank drafts. If you withdraw large amounts of money you also need to identify yourself with the proper documents.
Software (2)
The software is a bit buggy but its playable, they added multi-table support a year ago but it doesn't work very well. Sometimes you get disconnected at some of the tables. Play at one table at a time if you want to be somewhat safe. The graphics are actually very nice, the software is made from Casino on net and is not part of any poker network. Its also easy to find what you seek. The poker room is featured in many different languages: Dutch, Danish, English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
Tournament (6)
The tournament action is ok. But the starting chips are always low and the blinds go up fast. They do run lot of satellites to live poker tournaments. Total tournament players during peak hours is usually around 7000 players.
Rake (5)
The rake is a bit over average, but the lower stakes has lower rake and is generally lower than most other poker rooms on the internet. The highest rake for $50-$100 tables are $4 per pot played.

Security (10)
As this is a site that comes from Casino on net, its security is great. The funding this company handles per month requires very secure software, and they do have it.
